I'm Sydney. I believe in our shared responsibility to leave the world a little better than we found it, which is why my priority is compassionate, people-centered work that facilitates connection. Whether writing about education policy or fiction, designing wedding invitations or visual assets for the U.S. Senate, I’m a solutions-oriented creative thinker. Channeling earnestness and finding the humor in all things is my special superpower.
I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's in Political Science, a minor in German Studies and Gender, Sexuality & Women's Studies, and a certificate in Digital Media. My multidisciplinary background is reflective of my conviction that diverse perspectives enrich our work and our lives.
In my free time I can be found e-biking to a coffee shop in Washington, DC (with a helmet!) for a vigorous journaling session, asking “what-if” as I world-build for a role-play or my developing manuscript, and yearning for the resurgence of aesthetic whimsy.
